- Sooty Mold- Sooty mold, plant disease, is identified by black spots or coats on leaves, stems, and fruits. It is also known as a blotch or black mold. You can use organic versus pesticides to treat it.

Avoid overwatering and underwatering; put your finger in the soil, one inch down, and pour water when it’s dry. Keep the plant in a light, oxygenated pot.
